Hamilton, age 95, formerly of West Chester and Newtown Square, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late Roy K. Hamilton who passed away in June of 2004. Born in Cortland, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Bessie Fuller LeRoux. Anna was a member of the Willistown United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Homer High School. She enjoyed cooking, reading, audio books, and traveling.She loved her children and grandchildren which included her sons: Roy K. "Bear" husband of Sharon Coleman Hamilton of Quarryville, Kenneth S. husband of Felicia "Phyllis" Guidone Hamilton of Broomall, 3 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 7 step-great-grandchildren, and 1 step-great-great-grandchild. Nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by 2 siblings, George LeRoux and Jeannette Strong.A viewing will take place at the Shivery Funeral Home, 111 Elizabeth Street, Christiana, PA on Friday, September 1st from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Private interment will take place in the Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA.
